Such a charming place with incredible food! The Cuban Coffee was delicious! I can’t wait to go back to try more menu items
Had the Cuban sandwich with white rice and red beans for lunch. Perfect, flavorful, filling but not at all heavy. Service was outstanding, and the interior has terrific spacing, character and atmosphere. Definitely coming back soon, eager to try breakfast next.
Loved the food, ambiance and can't wait for them to have bands performing. You can tell the food is dripping in taste and care--six hours to prepare the ropa vieja and pork. The bread for the sandwiches was exquisite. My fave was the Cuban coffee by itself and with milk/leche--so smooth. Will have to return and try everything else and bring my loved ones as i am always looking for gems. This one is close to the TechPort.
I had the privilege of experiencing a tasting here, we started with a colorful vegan ceviche vibrant in both flavor and color. A personal recipe of the owner Erica, definitely try when you can! Next was the picadillo bowl which included rice, black beans, peppers, and picadillo all stand on their own but the umami when combined is something you’ll have to experience yourself! The atmosphere alone was captivating and has its own enchanting feel, this a gem to add to date night or a quick lunch grab for sure!
I had the honor of coming to a private taste testing for Cuba 1918, and I will definitely be coming back. The ambiance is so beautiful, warm, and inviting. This space takes me back in time. The food is absolutely delicious. We started with a vegan ceviche that was light and very refreshing. Plantain chips were served with the ceviche and added a nice crunch. The entree was Cuban picadillo, perfectly cooked white rice, and the most flavorful black beans I’ve ever tasted. For a perfect ending to this delicious meal was Cuban coffee, Cafè Americano, and a warm guava cheese pastry. I would come alone for that pastry and both coffees. This is definitely a place to come and enjoy a beautiful evening with friends and family.
