Possibly the best burger I've had in years. Breakfast burger was definitely the highlight of the meal. They earned back a star from how good it was. On the other hand, bacon-wrapped hot dog and chicken sandwich were mediocre at best. Onion rings were good, but nothing to write home about. Sweet potato fries were stiff and undercooked. Service was awful. Apparently they don't pay their staff enough to actually open their mouths while speaking. Everything our server (not much service involved) said was an unintelligible mumble.
Atmosphere is a little too "nostalgic" and food is just ok. Other than a creepy man who brought our food staff was nice and prompt. Sadly a one time experience.
Hometown is a classic burger joint. The burgers have that old school delicious taste and the music is just fabulous. The guys working there are very nice and they try their hardest to get all the orders out timely. It's only the two guys working so be patient because your food will be awesome. Any place that has good chili cheese tots has a customer like me for life, haha.
Best burgers I've had in a while. They make everything fresh and you can taste it! The sides are so good, I'd kill for these onion rings and sweet potato fries. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming too.
I think I've found my new regular burger place!
