I came here today for the first time and left impressed! The cashier was so sweet and helped me narrow down what to get. The food itself was divine. I enjoyed the curry plate that came with rice/beans and cabbage. Everything on my plate was flavorful and delicious. The curry was rich and the rice had a hint of coconut in it that paired nicely. I cant wait to come back and try the rasta pasta next. This place is certainly worth stopping in at if you're looking for something different and oh so yummy ?

Was walking by and my wife said hey I haven’t tried Jamaican food so i decided to try it and I’m so happy we did. I’m usually a very picky eater and as my wife say an “uncultured swine” but I can’t argue that because I grew up in a small town no one has heard about anyway enough about me. This food was delicious !! I am for sure coming back the lady working the cash register was super sweet and gave us a food description of the menu items. We recommend the pasta we chose mild because we shared with out six year old we all kept commenting on how good it was. My daughter ended up knocking over my wife’s second cup of peach mango tea (which was tasty) and the cashier called us over for another cup for free which was really nice because my daughter felt horrible and was on the verge of tears. Thank you so much for the excellent service!!

This weekend I finally had the opportunity to make it to the new Rolling Oaks location for Jamaica Jamaica restaurant, and let me tell you I was not disappointed! Although the location is smaller than their location on Austin highway they haven't skimped on the flavor their dishes deliver at all!
A few friends recommended I try the jerk burger so I tried it out on my first visit. I have to say I was quite impressed! For something that seems so simple it delivers a thorough flavor one two punch with the combo of the burger and the deconstructed slaw.
The owner Angello Gordon happened to be in site when I stopped by. He prepared the dish himself in the kitchen then have me a tutorial on suggested application of the fixings: Mayo on the bottom bun, cabbage to that, then ketchup on the bottom of the burger.
To be on the smaller side the sandwich packs amazing taste and is surely something I plan to order again on my next visit! And again after that ?
I definitely recommend you stop by and give their jerk burger or one of their other classic options a try: if the location were closer to my house I assure you they would be begging me to go home!

Huge portions! All made fresh with fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of heat per your preferences.

Best dish winner is the Rasta pasta. Just can't get over how flavorful and tender the pulled chicken and sauce was! Super fresh veggies and pasta cooked just right. Delish!

Will definitely be back!
