King Lou's BBQ & Soul Food

This was my first time eating here and honestly I must admit, I was a bit skeptical because it was inside the gas station. But boy did they changed my perception almost immediately. From the moment I walk in, greeted with a warm southern welcome, they made me feel right at home. The food appearances looked so scrumptious but that was not all. The smell of the food smelled so delicious I simply could not wait until I got home the smell made my stomach yearn for it so I tried it. Wow, what a burst of delicous flavors. The ribs were so good that it feel off the bones, the yams was really really good. I loved how they cook they mustard greens that's was what I needed, when I tell you their potatoe salads was to die for, it was simply the best. There cornbread and oxtails was worth the trip in itself. Overall all what I have order was just tondamn good thank you all so much. Please give them a try you will not regret it.

Very welcoming staff that always welcomes with a smile! We had the ribs and chicken 2 days in a row now as with fries, yams, and corn. This is some of the best chicken we have ever had and the ribs are absolutely perfect. Very good prices for the large amount of food you get! We will definitely be returning and would suggest this restaurant to anyone! We tried it just by chance and love it! Would give more than 5 stars if possible. Don’t sleep on this place!!

Wonderful customer service, decent price for the amount of food, great location. I sampled the ribs, smothered pork chop, brisket, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, and yams, and other barbeque places in this area can't compare.
