Krazy Katsu

Really good chicken in the sandwiches! & non chain restaurant chicken sandwiches are hard to find in SA I feel like. We liked the flavors. They are messy and HUGE so be prepared. It’s definitely on the pricy side, I’m not sure it was worth what I paid for one sandwich. There’s only seating outside and flies were everywhere. Staff didn’t talk much so I can’t say much about that!

Krazy Katsu is one trick pony, but they're very good at that trick. The chicken sandwiches are excellent. They're just thick enough and complimented very well by the amount of bread. To be clear, there is a lot of chicken in these sandwiches. A LOT of chicken. I'd guess the chicken is twice as large as the sandwich bread. Try the hot katsu (3 hot symbols on the menu) if you like spice at all because it's not overpowering but does remind you it's there. The price might be a tad high, but it's worth the experience. No indoor seating so visit on a pleasant day.

We went on August 10 and we ordered food and they told us they ran out of French fries. The chicken was good and the breading was a nice touch. Love the bread that came with the sliders. It would be 5 stars if they had French fries in stock. I do like the seating area outside with the two large cooling fans and shaded cover. The mac and cheese was hard and had no taste. We got the Asian hot honey which was good and I would get again.

Went for lunch. Biggest chicken sandwich I've ever had. The chicken was crispy and well cooked. I didn't expect such big portions of chicken, well worth the price. We barely ate any of the fries but they were also good.

If you want one of the best chicken sandwiches in town, you gota check this place out! They open their brick and mortar location in a few weeks but I couldn’t wait to write this review! Opening in The Yard Shopping Center off McCullough, I’ve watch them put so much love into their new location and the attention to detail on their sandwiches is absolutely matched! I was fortunate enough to help them test out their sandwiches a few times before they open and the hype is real! man oh man I can’t wait to have this in my life more frequently! I support local places that have that special WOW factor and this place will be one of them! The owners are hard working, super cool, and have made this area something special! Hang out on their patio and enjoy the most quaint seating and experience why this is one of the coolest shopping centers in SA! So So happy to add this place to The Yard’s hidden gems!
