Great service and very good food. The flour tortillas are homemade and delicious. I would recommend anyone in the area to try their breakfast tacos. They have an awesome special 3 tacos for $3.25!
Name has changed to "La Patrona". Clean friendly place. Coffee was good. Flour tortillas were of good quality, texture, size & flavor (look like homemade). I ordered a Country ala Mexicana w/ Aguacate taco, which was very tasty. (Country was clean & of good quality.) Next, was the Papa Ranchera taco. The potatoes were cooked through, not a little hard like at some places. It had a delicious Ranchero sauce on it. (Sauce was sauteed nicely, not spicy.) The last taco was of Carne Guizada w/ Aguacate. The meat quality was good & cooked thoroughly where it was soft to the bite, not strandy & hard to chew. The Guizada gravy was tasty & browned nicely, not undercooked and pale like some places. This had a savory flavor, just lacked the pinch of Laurel Leaf leaf flavor (to round out the flavor). It was a delicious taco, the only complaint was that it didn't have enough of the gravy. The 3 hot sauces were not hot.
1st - Molcajete sauce was flavorful & colorful.
2nd - Aguacate hot sauce had a good creamy avocado flavor.
3rd - Orange color Chile de arbol sauce was ok, but tasted refrigerated. None were hot. I will rate it about an 8 out of 10. A very good place. We will revisit soon.
