Las Palapas Mexican Restaurant

I visit the 281 Las Palapas frequently with nothing but great service and food so when the location on TPC was opening, I thought it was going to be great. Closer to home. I was wrong. Long delays and 2 of 3 orders have been wrong so far. Example, today I ordered a macho burrito, extra cheese and sauce. Simple. I received a dry burrito, no sauce, no cheese and a taco salad. Who puts a burrito with no sauce? Not even close. Is there no quality standards? I have seen theSonic next door empty since this place opened but I may be stopping there for my dinner. Not great food either but cheaper then this

Fantastic new restaurant on the TPC. Everything we have tried has been great. They are really busy now but the food has been great. A lot of food for the money. I only wish they had better salsa. I recommend!

We have been going to the Las Palapas on 281 and 1604 for years and we couldn't wait for this one to open up since it's so much closer to where we live. We finally got to eat there today and it was just as good as the other locations. The food is delicious and the service was excellent. Our waitress even put our drinks in to go to cups when we were leaving. Here's a tip, there is a parking space right in front of the restaurant that says reserved for Jaguars only, people think it's reserved but anyone can park there, Jaguars are the mascot of the high-school down the street.
