Bere at Quesabrosaz was sooo nice , it was our first time going and she gave us some great recommendations. The Quesadillas were delicious, the chicharron was my favorite but all of them were soo good , the carne asada was great juicy nicely seasoned, the huitlacoche was also very good ( a great choice for vegetarians). So very happy to have found this place and like I mentioned Bere was super amable , overall a great experience will definitely be back to try the pastel de elote 🤤
Staff was super friendly. Ordered the chicharrón en salsa verde and carne asada quesadillas and they were both very tasty. Not to say those extra sauces were so good. Clean facility, nice ambiance, worth every penny. Will definitely be back.
Let me start by saying the tortillas super fresh! I got the chile rilleno and and a zuchini mix. I’m not kidding some of the best tortillas I have ever had. It was hand made and when you bit into the tortilla it was perfectly crispy and beautifully fluffy. Also finally a place where you get what you paid for and not some tiny portion size. It was so reasonably priced. The place is so clean and homie amazing family environment and just overall great aesthetic. Don’t forget some great horchata! Bere, who I believe is the owner, is such a sweet woman. You have gotten yourself a repeat customer, thank you for the amazing, clean , service and food!
If ever there was proof that you don't have to pay a fortune at a fancy restaurant to eat incredible food, Quesabrosaz #3 on 18866 Stone Oak is it. They make large, traditional quesadillas, memelas from Puebla and gorditas all with homemade corn tortillas [no flour here!] at [amazingly these days] accesible prices.
Mom and I tried the poblano and the super interesting huitlacoche [a fungus that grows on corn]. We both agreed they were the best quesadillas we ever tried. The creamy poblano was divine, the huitlacoche had what I can only think of describing as an amazing "umami", memelas had a delicious spiciness that's not typical flavor from usual Mexican salsas.
And the corn tortillas! Perfection, the slightest crisp on outside but soft on inside with big corn flavor. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a molino in the back. Also had a lovely cucumber with lime aqua fresca, incredibly refreshing, not too sweet.
Overall, it felt like an experience because the flavors and textures transported me to the streets of Mexico where vendors are cooking fresh food with the freshest ingredients.
And to top it off the two ladies working there, from Zacatecas, were the epitome of Latino hospitality, warm and welcoming and enthusiastic to teach you about what they offer.
11/10 Can't wait to go back and try the flor de calabaza!
Atmosphere was good. It looked really clean and well maintained. In less than 10 minutes I viewed the menu, ordered and left ( I ordered to go). The cashier was very sweet and friendly. The food was amazing! The guisados were good. The elote cake was very good too! Service was fast. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
