Mare E Monte Italian Restaurant (San Antonio)

Everything was outstanding. The service was impeccable and the food was easily one of the best meals we’ve had in years. Each bite was filled with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The desserts were light and refreshing. We can’t wait to go back!

As a foodie, I can say this was the BEST food experience I've ever had. Every thing was out of this world. From the appetizers, to the main entrees, and dessert. Blown away by the ambiance and the care that went to every delicious plate we ate today. Our server was very attentive and Prince (the owner) stopped by our table multiple times. He made sure our Anniversary was perfect and memorable. Definitely will be coming back!

So normally I start all my reviews with the quality and taste of food and I will get to that but I have to start this review with the amazing hospitality and service the owner, Prince and his staff gave me. The nicest, most appreciative staff I have encountered in a long long time. Service was A+++++.
The food was excellent. Start to finish. Amazing flavor, taste delicious. If you want great Italian food, you need to make a stop here. He has a wonderful menu and I will return to try several other dishes.

Atmosphere was awesome with tablecloth tables which I love! Greeted with friendly smiles and immediately approached even though our party wasn't fully there. Even the owner stopped by our table to say hi which was awesome and he is so nice! And now the food! Incredible! I had to order 2 entrees because I didn't know what to choose . I will definitely be coming back! And they are baby friendly! Never made us feel bad about the baby making noise. In fact they even tried to help calm her down when she was crying! You gotta come try this place! Absolutely incredible experience all around!

My husband and I were looking for something different and stopped by for dinner. It’s authentic Italian for sure.

The service was excellent! We were immediately greeted at the door and welcomed. It was very clean and the decor was nice.

The service and food were great. We were always checked on. I had the veal Parmesan, but will be trying the lamb chops next time. The prices were pretty comparable to other restaurants so we didn’t feel like it was overpriced.

We will definitely be going back.
