Mariposa

An honestly unparalleled setting— nicer and more contemporary than most places, but brighter and more casual than somewhere like Nobu. The food is good but also very cheap, making it a great place to regular. The outdoor seating is also one of the best ever, with a secluded feeling and a nice elevated view (literally, it’s the second floor).

The food and drink are actually pretty good, especially for the price. Well balanced, modern American flavors.

I have places I like to eat at, but Mariposa is now my favorite. The menu is big enough to keep you engaged, is not overwhelming, offers excellent selections. The floorplan is done well and despite it's small footprint offers an environment that makes you feel as though you are in your own world. Service was excellent and the wait staff is attendant without being intrusive. My food came out promptly and displayed well.

The food and drinks are always amazing. The hardest part is getting through the store to the restaurant without spending yourself into debt.

I always love dining at mariposa. The staff is always accommodating and the food is great. They have pecan tuna sandwiches and chicken salad that's not on the menu. If you are in the mood to feel like a fancy rich bish, this place is great. Pricey but not too outrageous and the broth and popovers before your meal are delightful.
