The charm of the downtown original is recreated wonderfully here, from it’s bustling staff, many fountains, beautiful decor, and shiny hanging flags on the ceiling. The mini bakery is a great touch to add like the original. There’s plants of room and no worries about parking out here! The staff was attentive, friendly, and great in helping celebrate a birthday dinner we were there for. The food is the same quality as the one downtown. Give a good look to the artwork in the room, especially the mural in progress in one of the larger rooms!
This place was beautiful and had wonderful atmosphere. Chips were stale and flavorless, like packing peanuts. The margaritas were great but don't don't crazy with the other alcohol it was overly strong. The prices are more expensive than other nearby restaurants and the service was lengthy. I ordered grilled chicken carbon. My plate came with the chicken which was very flavorful and all around good, as well as seasoned potatoes that were undercooked and not seasoned just covered in cheese. The refried beans are Excellent. Good experience overall. With improvements this could really be a 5 star restaurant!
The Food was great!!
BUT I would LOVE to give Sarah 20 stars for having to deal with my date on Valentines Day. He was so demanding and rude I felt so embarrassed to be there with him. But she went above and beyond to make sure that our experience was amazing and she did. I want to thank her and apologize for my dates behavior.
She will see me again!!
But not with him...????
Thank you Sarah!!
Rose!
I came here with some folks from work for dinner. There was plenty of parking in the lot out front which was great and the location huge. I got there a little earlier than everyone else so sat at the bar for a little bit. The happy hour specials were good for food, however they didn't offer any well drink specials. But a gin and soda is typically only $6 anyway so it was quite reasonable. The dinner menu was huge and it was so hard to made a decision. I ended up choosing the shrimp fajitas and ordered a botana platter for the table. The botana platter was good and all the food was well prepared and hot. However my fajitas were a little disappointing. The shrimp didn't even come with onions and peppers (which I always picture with fajitas) and they didn't have much seasoning. Even the side of guacamole didn't have enough salt added to it. The service was decent, a little slow but they were very busy. Overall it was alright visit.
Beautiful restaurant, I’m glad they brought some of the designs from the original location downtown. The hanging flags and artwork are great unlike the service, went there for breakfast and it wasn’t very busy but we only saw the waiter twice, once to drop off the food and once for the check. We ran out of drinks halfway through our meal and were only offered refills when we got the bill. The food was tasty but the price to high the small portions when compared to other Mexican restaurants. The bakery items were good and the girl behind the counter knew what she was talking about so that a plus. Will probably only return for the bakery.
