I'm from Chicago and love the great food and service. I look forward to coming here every time. The portions are great and the prices are right. Great atmosphere! Always busy when I go but so worth the wait!! Plenty of parking.

I saved myself all day Friday just so I could enjoy the Pollock fried Pollock and shrimp plate. They graciously let me have an extra serving of salad and took away the french fries. I had to have the two onion rings. My fella he always gets the two pieces of pollock with the total everything including the Texas toast and a schooner. MK Davis on a Friday Night Never Fails to please. See you there!

Service was quick. Food hot and fresh always ready to refill beverages. No wait time to be seated when we got there.

I've been in SA for 14 years now and just found this place! We've been missing out! It's apparently a locals spot. Expect a wait. We showed up around 6:30pm on a Saturday and there was a 30 min. wait. No worries though, just grab schooner (apparently they're known for the schooner) of Shiner Bock, sit back and enjoy the nostalgia feeling. I had the ribeye with fries and a salad and it didn't disappoint. It's not a typical steakhouse steak grilled on an open flame if that's what your looking for. I think it was cooked on stainless steel or cast iron griddle. The portion are huge! The staff friendly and attentive! Everything I saw looked good! I definitely want to go back for the seafood platter! If you've never been here, I think everyone there will know... must be a loyal fanbase and I want to become one!

I like restaurants that seem like little time capsules. MK Davis seems like a blast from the past sit down restaurant when you look at it from the outside and the see the lighting and decor on the inside. Sure enough, they've been operating for around 60 years.

The main draw here is alot of traditional comfort food and some great lunch specials. I went for the chopped steak with gravy. They had chicken fried chicken but it was sold out. That may be due to the large crowd they draw at lunch time. Be prepared for a little wait, but good food at a very good price is why. I go for the lunch specials and a I try to get in a little early because there can be a little wait.
