Motel Fried Chicken

Nice place and service. The regular chicken sandwich was really good, but the waffle fries were way too salty. I would have chalked this up to a simple mistake, but the spicy chicken sandwich was also too salty, seemed like a normal chicken sandwich dusted with chili powder and then salt. Then rolled in salt. And then salted again just for good measure.

The(thee) best chicken sandwich I've ever had, and I've had them all. The coleslaw is unique and delicious. The iced tea is brewed style so you can really taste the leaves almost. Worth the drive.

If your schedule will allow it, this place is definitely worth a try

This place is great. I've eaten here three times. Really is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The bun is perfect because it is not overly flavorful so as to mask the other ingredients and it squishes in nicely to just become the sandwich container as you eat. The pickles are nice and crispy and add a nice flavor when combined with the chicken. I've tried both the spicy and traditional chicken and both are amazingly moist and tasty. The spicy is pretty spicy so don't get it if all you want is like fast food chicken level of spiciness. I always get the mayo on the sandwich because I like mayo, but the chicken is moist enough you could live without. Also there are several sauces you can either put on or dip your sandwich in. The fries are good too. They give you a very large quantity of fries which is great, cuz I usually eat half the fries and sandwich and then eat the other half later.
