What a cool place! The guy behind the counter took his time to explain things to us, as we were not familiar with certain types of beers. We tried a couple from their selections and they were really really good, with a special mention for the golden stout! The do not offer food directly but there was a food truck right outside. The interior is also stripped to the bare but with a beautiful and modern industrial feel! Looking forward to another visit next time I am in town!
Steel-tip darts and alllllll zee doggos!!
A perfect way to spend a Sunday with friends.
Beers are relatively solid - this visit I particularly enjoyed Rooftop Views, a dry-hopped pilsner.
And I *love* that they brew hop water (like beer-flavoured la Croix lol), but I really wish they made 6-packs of that to-go as well.
Wasn't a big fan of food or attitude at the veg/vegan food truck Project Pollo.
New Place ...Saturday? idk, whenever we went. A buddy of mine thought I'd dig it - and I did. It has a nice, bright atmosphere, with plenty of space, and a nice view of the beer stills in the background. That's right, they brew their own. & Did I mention space? I walked around to the bathroom and there's a whole other area about half the size of the main. Animal-friendly (well, there were a lot of dogs; not sure they'd allow a monkey or a llama, but you never know) and I regret not bringing the furbabies. I enjoyed myself, and the beer was really, really good. Another thing I regret is not grabbing any drinks on my way out, conveniently located right by the cashier in ready-to-take-home aluminum packaging (i.e. six packs and singles - no growler required!). Everyone in Texas should be thankful for places like this; otherwise we'd probably all be depressed, drinking Budweiser in the neighborhood Applebee's.
Totally dug my Professor Plum's Alibi fruited sour. And it was pink - even better! Chill vibe when we visited. Tried the London Calling English dark mild, too. Really interesting lighter beer that looked much richer and heavy. Fun surprise. Our group loved the branding and logo so much, we all got a matching t-shirt!
I tried 8 of their beers and they were pretty good. I didn't personally find one that I wanted a whole pint of but I didn't get to their ipas and I was told they are quite good. The place had a really good vibe to it and it was dog friendly. If I lived around the area I would probably frequent the establishment but it would be for the people and not so much for the flavors. They also had a couple of non alcohol related items on the menu. I really enjoyed the experience and would rate them a five for that but I just wasn't too interested in the beers I had, perhaps next time I go I will focus on their selection of ipas.
