The best, most authentic place in town. "The Don" is the best pork belly dish ever and everything else is amazing. Everything is served family style with generous portions. A single order of soup is 32oz which means 5 plus soup orders. I suggest the place to people all the time.
This was our first time at Sichuan House, and I can honestly say that the 2 servers that tended to us had GREAT customer service. You can definitely tell they love their jobs and their customers. They took the time to describe the menu and offered suggestions. The garlicy cold noodles were so delicious! We will definitely be back so we can try the rest of the menu!
More authentic Sichuan style. Obviously, they lean on the spicy side. Word of warning, most dishes are VERY OILY....like swimming in oil....from the chili oil and fried nature of their dishes. (most dishes are fried) A little pricey. The service was very prompt, helpful and friendly over the phone. It's not bad if you don't mind the oil. I like the spice, but the dishes are just too fatty and oily for me. I feel like I swallowed a gallon of chili oil after each meal. Even my rice couldn't absorb all the oil.
Really great service, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The menu is quite extensive, and they have several types of hot tea, other drinks, and even several variations on things like pork belly!!
The food was delicious and had a variety of flavors. The portions were generous. You're automatically given water when you dine in. You also receive a generous amount of white rice on the side.
Update:
The store owner actually reached out in the comment below and I am so glad my one bad experience is not the norm. Updating my review to tell everyone to try my favorite dishes from this amazing small business:
1. The crispy spicy chicken is very savory with a slight kick to it
2. Best Green Bean dish I ever had in my life. It’s seared and has bits of minced garlic, super tasty and possibly slightly addictive
3. Dong Po Rou (braised pork belly) is delicious. The top layer will melt in your mouth and tastes sort of like barbecue. The sauce is SO good, and they are generous with the portions.
