Good friendly experience. Cashier was very sweet and hospitable. The environment was awesome. Brightly painted walls and old school r&b videos playing. Service was fast and the burrito was EXCELLENT. We will definitely be going back again.
Best burrito place I’ve ever been too. The burritos are huge, almost everything is made fresh in house, each individual thing is so fresh and flavorful that it adds so much depth. It’s also great to see the works and owners be so close, it makes you feel at home.
California Love
We came in for lunch. The atmosphere was fun and bustling. The staff was friendly. Despite having recently opened, and being slightly tucked away, it seems to already be a popular spot with lots of happy customers.
The star attraction was the menu of real, Cali style burritos, which is not something you can easily find in San Antonio. They have quite a few to choose from, plus some limited time specials. We tried two of the Surf N' Turfs. The first thing you notice when they bring them to your table is how enormous they are. It's enough to make you pause for a moment upon unwrapping one. When you bite into it, you can tell they use high quality ingredients. The steak is juicy, the shrimp are large, the cheese is melty; it all comes together very nicely.
The manager came to our table to check on us and see how we were liking everything, which is always a nice touch.
We're looking forward to coming back and trying all of the other types of burritos!
Would’ve taken a picture of my food but… well… I couldn’t pace myself and all too soon it was gone. Not that it was small. Nope, definitely not small. The name is all too appropriate for the size of these monsters. Walked in to be welcomed by super friendly staff and found myself staring down a menu that challenged my ability to make decisions. The environment was great- good music, clean tables and a chill, modern street vibe. Props to the guy who did the paint job, felt like we were right there on mural mile. Oh and did I mention the food was killer? Got the Surf and Turf and felt more than satisfied with the decision I made during my fight with the menu. On top of all of this Chan, one of the owners, came over and made my family feel like family. Overall: killer food, clean place, good vibes, and the owner is one cool dude.
