The Good Kind Southtown

Quaint and quality, The Good Kind hosts a menu of healthier than most sandwiches, bowls, and paninis. I tried the mozzarella panini ($11) with avocado added (+$2) which was tasty to be sure. I also had their fresh lemonade ($4) which was refreshing but the total lunch price of $18 after tax was a bit high for it to be a regular lunch spot. Another minor criticism worth noting was the meal prep time is on the longer side - just at a 40 minute wait for lunch. But if you don't have anywhere to be and are looking for something fresh and clean The Good Kind would be worth the trip.

Idyllic courtyard in the back. Good prices, good food, polite service. The backyard is amazing. I could spend all day there. Great place to bring a large group.

Adorable and delicious cocktails. Beautifully landscaped outdoor area. I had a chard and mint mimosa with veggie sliders during an event with vendors, live painting, and vinyl DJ. Really cool. Can't wait to go back.

Fresh, health options. A little pricey ( I had a salad and a glass of wine for $20) but still great. Staff very friendly.

A hidden gem! So happy this place turned up in the hood. We have had very little access to healthy food choices. This place is amazing! Gorgeous garden and really helpful staff. No idea how this place got any negative reviews. Each to their own I suppose but seems that the bad reviews are all for things that are common issues with brand new places, and easily smoothed out over time. Come on people! Obviously a lot of love and attention has gone into this concept and maybe give them a little before you slam it. My 2c. Thank you GOOD KIND!
