Tiger's Chinese Cuisine

Excellent mix of Chinese cuisine with a nice selection of Sichuan dishes. Eggplant dishes are great, Dan Dan noodles are nice, really it's a place to go to many times to try everything on their extensive menu.

Take out is a great way to order online without waiting in person.

Service is understaffed but doesn't detract from my rating. They are extremely fast to cook and serve your order once placed.

Ordered take out. Very much enjoyed their high quality ingredients. Flavors and textures were on point. Staff were very friendly. We'll definitely be back.
*They were beyond overwhelmed with the number of dine in AND call in orders, but still doing their best to accommodate everyone. Looking forward to dining in when things calm down!!! The presentation on the tables looked really nice :)

Was waiting SO long for Tigers to open since they're close to where I work...I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service being that they are still so new. This is definitely not your simple Chinese restaurant you see all over and I love that about them!!! I am sure they did not anticipate the immediate surge in business but it is oh so deserved. Each experience is always worth it and I can't help but feel proud that they are already tackling delivery, dine in, take out, online orders all at once. They deserve your patience as they're still working out the kinks.

We always love going to Tiger at the Rice Village in Houston, so we were excited that a branch opened in San Antonio. It did not disappoint. The food is the same quality. The place is quite small with limited sitting, so there could be some planning and waiting needed during peak hours. The staff is very pleasant. We came in during a hectic time. The staff was a little overwhelmed but they will figure it out, they just opened. I believe they were overwhelmed by the XLB demand, and were not expecting it. They had to stop taking to-go orders for a couple of hours to accommodate the sit in customers.

Came in on a "soft opening"...620pm on a Thursday. Line of peeps waiting. I put my name down, waited about 20min. Not too bad. Understaffed and a little overwhelmed BUT they did their best to make sure that all were taken care of. Great food! Small quaint place on the corner of this strip but suitable, even for parties of up to 6. Be patient and you should be rewarded with a really good meal. Come early for dinner, I anticipate that this place will be popular very quickly since these guys come from Houston and have a good following already. Give them a try 😉
