Tre Trattoria

We had dinner here this evening. I don’t have words to describe how wonderful this food is. Our exceptional waiter recommended the pulled mozzarella with crusty garlic bread. We hadn’t planned on ordering it, but after his recommendation, we tried it. OMG, it was to die for! We spent 2 months here last winter and somehow missed this little gem. Can’t wait to come back!

We lived in Italy for two years and make respectable Italian food at home. We eschew Italian restaurants because we can do better for less money. This is the exception, as close to a return to Italy as we have found and executed with a subtlety, skill, and thoughtful food design that we cannot match. Highly recommend Tre Trattoria.

The food is amazing here! It is one of my favorite restaurants in SA. The ambience can’t be beat and our server was so wonderful, he has the best recommendations. Perfect place for date night. We never get dessert but you must try the Nutella x 3. It’s amazing.

The last time we visited a Chef Daddy establishment was Tre Enoteca. We missed the cuisine and the atmosphere.

We finally made it to Tre Trattoria and it did not disappoint.

It is nestled in behind the San Antonio Museum of art near the beginning of the San Antonio River walk.

We treated ourselves to the Restaurant Month menu with wine pairings and it did not disappoint.

Vanessa served us this evening and she was polite and attentive.

I've been to Florence and Rome..this is the closest italian restaurant in the states by far! Fantastic!
