Service and quality were wonderful! I took my kids (14-25years old) on a Thursday at 6pm. I’d read some reviews stating that service was slow as they have not been open long, so I decided to go to an early dinner to beat the dinner rush and we had no issues with service and as a matter of fact our server was very nice and was able to answer all our questions and make great recommendations. It does take a little while to prepare some items but we quickly realized that soup and appetizers come out quickly. Sushi, sashimi and rolls take a bit longer so it’s good to think ahead when ordering. Also, for my younger one who has only recently been open to the idea of eating sushi, I ordered fried rice with hibachi steak as his meal and then offered the option to try different rolls and such we had ordered. He loved it, we all did. Just make sure to pace yourself, share and enjoy! And don’t forget to leave room for dessert…the fried cheesecake is to die for!!
Tried it out for lunch, all you can eat apps, entrees, and sushi for $19.95 for adults. Really solid food quality, all appetizers were good, decent portions so got to try a lot of items, noodles and rice needed a little more umph but were hot and fresh, sushi was pretty good, and tempura banana was a nice finish to the meal. Interested to try the hibachi when we return.
Open Memorial Day!!! New favorite restaurant in town, hands down. All you can eat sushi menu has so many different options to chose from. Pricing here can't be beat elsewhere. You can't go wrong. Staff was friendly and helpful.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Check it out.
Uhmazingg, I was very impressed and happy with the quality of the food and I really hope it doesn’t go down. I love the preparation and presentation of food. Good flavors and not super salty. I think for all you can eat, it’s an awesome business idea to give out small servings of food. I was able to try different things without feeling overwhelmed. For the first time in 3 years living here in San Antonio, I can say this is one of the best sushi around this area for the price you are paying. The desserts were pretty good too!
Went there today, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was not bad, but not memorable either. We got a bunch of rolls, the Harbor Bridge Roll was the best. My only complaint was the deep fried rolls were barely fried. The batter, or whatever you would call the portion surrounding the roll, was barely existent and lacked the crunch characteristic of deep fried rolls.
We got all of the tempura desserts. The cheesecake was the best. Could've done without the banana.
Overall decent, not sure if I'd go back or just go to Kobe for cheaper same quality food.
