Shang-Hai Chinese Restaurant

Well I really want Chinese food . Well I ask for combination rice . Sorry I didn’t like it . Eggs roll great. Customer service was good , but I was looking at menu to order pepper steak , funny thing is at soon I say combination rice , she took the menu . My face was ok I guess and don’t eating anything else lol . But she was very friendly. I will comeback, but not combination rice for me.

So delicious! So good! Do yourselves a favor and eat here! The portions here are large enough for me say that 90% of the people eating here should be leaving with a to go box filled with food for tomorrow.

I hadn't eaten here in several years and decided to give it another try.

The service was decent, prices were about average. Portions on the items we ordered were decent size, but failed to impress with flavor.

I ordered the General Chicken, which wasn't crispy and had an unimpressive sauce on it. Nothing about the restaurant, service or food really set this place a step above any other. The total cost of the meal was about what it would cost at any Chinese restaurant.

I probably wont be frequenting this place. I might be willing to return if I see someone recommends a specific item that catches my interest. So far the items Ive tried have failed to leave an experience that would bring me back.

Personally getting a kick out of some of these reviews. Clearly the individuals have no taste buds. I've been coming here since I was a kid and I tell you this. The food has tons of flavor. My personal favorites are Schezuan chicken, pepper steak, lemon chicken and the chicken fried rice. I've never once had cold food but extremely hot food that you have to wait to eat for a food minutes. The wonton soup is incredible and doesn't taste like tap water like most places. Their ice sweet tea is the best and the soda is always fresh. All the wait staff are extremely nice and attentive. My drink is always refilled when half full. The best time to eat their is during lunch time at night it's a big pricey. However if you do eat at night try the chicken fried rice, there's tons of it and it's fairly cheap.
