    good ol' yummy food. Even my kids like it! I know during the holidays they have this really good bean pie. Similar to a sweet potato pie.

    We got take-out, fried fish and fried chicken plates. Great tasting and the portions are good.......not skimpy like some places. And for the price, it was all good. Love the cornbread muffin.....yummy.Thanks u guys.....

    What a wonderful place to eat! Great home cooking, owner's were very friendly and made sure we felt welcome. We have found a hidden jewel in Universal City! Going back very soon.

    Everything I have had here has been amazing. Chicken fried chicken, cornbread, even the fried are great. Homemade cooking dun right.

    Just finished eating at Pappy G's, and the food was excellent!! Met Pappy himself and he is a great man with a wonderful personality. Will definitely eat here again. Also definitely recommend....
