If you like decent Bourbon, then you definitely want to come here. Heck if you don't like bourbon you still want to come here for the very pleasant surroundings. A set of nice wooden cabin like structures are dotted amongst nice shady trees and well manicured grass. Parking and seating is plenty but can run at a premium depending on the time. Staff are friendly and whisky is interesting and soothing!
Loved this place. Too bad it's a Sunday and I can't take anything home. We went on wine tours and and all, but the this is a favorite!!
Scooter was amazing ????
Great bourbon. Great tour. Friendly staff. Great story. Nice informal outdoor seating. They support First Responders and Military. Try going during the week. Less crowded and a more personal experience. Worth a visit.
I came in shortly after a tour to experience a tasting, as was recommended when I called in. Service was good and the pouring portion was plenty. The whiskeys are above average but the single barrel out-shined the rest. My only issue is that for being a small local craft distillery, I cannot justify spending over $100 on a bottle, otherwise I definitely would have left with one. Like another reviewer here said, this isn't Lagavulin. Well, at least maybe not yet.
Every part of this experience was very good, well informed and the bourbons were excellent. About 30 people were in the tour group. We all were strangers but very friendly throughout the tour. It rained very hard on us almost the entire time we were on tour. However, they provided umbrellas. It did not seem to bother anyone in the group or damper our spirits.
I'm not sure what happened to the individuals who posted within the last 2 weeks with their negative experience, however, please do not take their comments to seriously.
Take your own tour and see if it was worthwhile.
My 92 yo, WWII veteran, Dad, also enjoyed the tour.
Thank you entire staff!
