Mike says it's as good as any BBQ he's had in Texas, or anywhere. Vegetarian, me, says five stars for baked potatoes and pinto beans too.
Highly recommend Ronnie's Ice House Barbeque. Stopped in recently on a Wednesday I think it was and the special was pork loin. It was awesome. I really wanted to try brisket too, but they made it clear you can't have the special on a two meat plate. Anyways, for sides I had pinto beans and coleslaw. They were both good and the olives in the coleslaw was surprisingly good. Stop in, you won't regret it.

Ronnie's is underrated. Texas Monthly needs to try this place out. Diamond in the rough. The banana pudding blew my mind!
Stopped for the first time for lunch before heading back to florence. Such great food, huge selection, great service. You know that feeling you get when your feeling full.. but you can't stop eating? Yeah it's kinda like that. IT'S THAT GOOD! No other place had that affect on me.
So good! The ribs and sausage was good but the brisket was out-of-this-world! It had such good flavor! We got there right at noon and they were already sold out of some sides. We didn't mind because we got potato salad, pinto beans and sauerkraut salad and they were all really good! The banana pudding was creamy, smooth and almost whipped! It was the perfect dessert to an awesome meal! This was our first time here but we'll definitely be back!
