Checked in and everything is fresh and clean. Started out with an awesome wine tasting, then a simple lunch. For those of you familiar with our record heat it’s miserable but somehow the pool here is freezing cold!!! First cold pool we’ve been in this summer. Following, we spent some time at the spa and got a couples massage. These ladies are strong so ask to go easy on ya. Enjoyed a nap at the room. Spent the evening dinner with music from Bryan Anders which was awesome. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Best part of the night was meeting Christion and Ethan, very funny and fantastic servers. They have a secret item NOT on the menu but should be, the angry bird pizza. Ask for it I promise it won’t disappoint. Finally back to the room for jacuzzi bath and adult fun!! Woke up to a peaceful morning with flowers and birds. Breakfast was very good. Buffet with eggs cooked fresh in front of you anyway style you want. Back to the room pack nap and now on our way. Wish we could stay. I absolutely recommend coming here. Service, food, facility totally rocked. We will be back
Enjoyed our stay at the Carter Creek winery. We had a great chalet with easy walking access to all the amenities. Spent our evenings out on the Great lawn enjoying great music and food and surprisingly good breezes! The onsite winery and brewery were excellent!
From the moment we checked in with Lindsay, we felt very welcome at Carter Creek. The accommodations were very comfortable and conveniently located to parking. We were able to bring our dog, CJ, and he was also very comfortable there - there were plenty of green spaces there for him. Kim was outstanding - she made sure all of our needs were met, and she introduced us to many on staff including Matt, the manager, and Justin, the brewer. Justin makes some awesome brews - he could easily sell these in any supermarket and should seriously consider doing this. The food/desserts at Carter Creek were also outstanding. The flavors were incredible! We also had live music on Friday night, and it was very good, as well. Overall, we highly recommend Carter Creek, and we hope to return soon.
This is such a beautiful little slice of heaven in the middle of no where Texas! The rooms were very large and brand new it seemed! The door even had a peep door which was pretty cool! We bought the romance package that included a wine tasting, bottle of Brut and wine infused chocolate! That was a nice touch! Note that the wine tasting room does it's last tasting at 530pm and you need to make reservations for dinner as it does fill up, especially on the weekends! I would for sure stay here again as the room for the price is quite amazing!
Carter Creek is one of the best options when visiting the area. We have stayed multiple times and have never had a bad experience and now we will continue to stay here when visiting the hill country. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the villas are great size and very clean. Everything you need is on location with the winery, brewery, restaurant, and entertainment. The weekends are great when they have live bands. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!
