Menu says country comfort food. They brought my kids complimentary fried Oreos before the meal. The kids devoured them. We ordered mostly breakfasts (waffles, eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, biscuits and gravy) in addition to fried mozzerella sticks and a BLT. Very large portions, served hot, tasted great. Pretty greasy (as anticipated with country comfort food) but not overly greasy hash browns, eggs, and bacon. BLT, biscuits, sausage gravy, waffles, grits, and fried cheese all without greasy taste or appearance. Specialty coffee drinks available and made fresh.
We had lunch yesterday and it was very good and the staff were all very friendly. We enjoyed the special which was chicken fried stake with mashed potatoes and broccoli salad. Look forward to going again real soon. Thanks for a great meal.
Every Saturday morning I eat breakfast at the Chuckwagon. The food is not from the buffet and it is cooked when you order. It's a great atmosphere and it's clean.
Best food in Clifton!!!! Hand-made comfort food, including amazing daily specials and desserts. We eat here at least weekly and we are never disappointed. The staff are super friendly and focus on customer service. We wish we had more places like this in Clifton!!! ❤️
Ethan Lush was a little off on the time, it took about 10-20 minutes to get our food but that wasn’t the issue. The problem I had was that I ordered biscuits and gravy which comes with two biscuits, sausage gravy, hash browns, and grits. When I ordered I ask for no grits. Well yall got the no grits part right, but when I got my plate they completely forgot my hash browns. How could you possibly forget your own menu. The top and bottom of the biscuits were hard and the sausage gravy wasn’t to die for. So I don’t know who said that’s the best place in town I’d rather eat at Burger King than there.
