Loved this food. Highly recommend Fried Pork Chop with brown gravy or the Chicken Fried Chicken with cream gravy & for sides the macaroni & cheese or pinto beans or greens. Pretty big portions of meat.

My family order from here often. We have pretty much tried almost everything on their menu and have yet to be disappointed. Be prepared for a wait because your food is made fresh. The flavors of their dishes keeps us wanting more. I'm assuming the gentlemen that I have interacted with on several occasions is the owner. He is friendly, witty, and knows how to make you order more food without hesitation. This is a great establishment.

This place offers a unique cuisine for the area. Everything on the menu is awesome...especially their ox tails, catfish and gumbo! The menu does vary on certain days but you will never be disappointed. Our food is made to order so look forward to a bit of a wait. But its fresh food..no bagged or frozen items.

Fantastic food, great service! My first time visiting, but I will definitely return. I tried the smothered pork chops, greens, and mac+cheese. The chops were perfectly cooked and seasoned with a delicious creole seasoning. The mac+cheese was phenomenal! I look forward to trying more of their menu.

To start, we flew from Ohio to New Orleans now we’re driving back home. This place is by far the best place we’ve eaten at so far. The service was amazing. The owner is so sweet. THE FOOD!!! How do you make something as simple green beans taste so good?! I got the smothered pork chop with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese, it was so big I couldn’t finish it. My fiancé got chicken fried chicken with green beans and I picked at his plate as well. If you’re anywhere near this area. Stop, it will be worth your while!
