“I was in the drive through line, and I was very tired from lack of sleep, so I fell asleep in the drive through. The staff quickly came to my car and asked if I was okay. They seemed concerned, but I assured them I was okay. I placed my order and when the staff brought it to my car, they again asked if I was okay or needed a ride. They showed awareness and genuine concern which I thought should be noted, and the food and customer service was excellent.”

“We love Big Jake's! When you dine in you get free pinto beans! They are really good with some of their in house BBQ sauce. I'd love to know where they get their pickles. Probably the best I've ever eaten. I always get the fries with chopped brisket... all I can say is excellent! The only complaint I have with them is the cheese doesn't always melt. But, still great. I always have to get one of the home-made fried pies! The peach is all time fave! Just the right amount of tart mixed with a hint of sweet! Highly recommended.”

“I’ve been to many waffle houses in my life, all over the country. I never write reviews but I felt the urge to finally do it because of this Waffle House. The waffle was crispy on the edges, the sausage could be gummed down without teeth, the hash browns were crispy, and the bathroom was pristine. Even the staff actually enjoy each other’s company, unlike every other Waffle House that’s full of drama. Some people come for that drama though. I knew this place was good when I saw one of the cooks smoking out front, but it still blew my expectations.”

“Why is it that no matter what city you go to, when you visit African American neighborhood drive thru restaurants there's something either not working, parking lot is too small or you need a four wheel drive to get into the parking lot. Or the drive thru speaker has a sign saying" order at window" then there's 5 cars ahead of you. This is that place. Food was good, no problems with that. Needs remodeling”
