This was my second time here. On the shrimp special you get a dozen of huge shrimp, I could only eat six. The next day I heated them up and ate them. Usually I can't eat fried leftovers because they absorb too much grease, but this was not the case. These shrimp was just as good the following day. I also like there sweet potato fries. Oh, I can't forget about the delicious cherry and peach cobbler. The staff is awesome and attentive. Both times the travel was worth the trip.
Haven't eaten there in 25 years. They haven't skipped a beat. Everything is outstanding. Especially the beef ribs.
Always great food and service. I love the New York strip steak dinner for only $10.95. Lots of food and dessert. It's clean and beautiful inside. I love all of the history on the walls
Came here to experinece some of the Texas culinary scene (we're from Washington state) and had the all-you-can eat seafood buffet.....
Word to anyone wanting to go here to have that; literally everything was deep fried (and there was only a handful of seafood options; fish, crab(maybe) puffs, shrimp, a couple others). Which was fine and it WAS yummy but hearing about an all-you-can eat seafood buffet, I'm imagining a lot more options and types of cooking. Additionally there was a salad bar, potatoes, corn, and a soup.
The decor was cool (lots of taxidermy). And food and food options were ok; fairly basic.
