    Best beans you'll find. Chopped beef sandwich is top 3 for the area. Staff is pretty friendly. We don't dial 911 wooden carving is a plus.

    My wife and I stopped here on our way back to Alvin. I got the 3 meat platter and my wife got the 2 meat platter. The meats were tender and moist and tasty. The sides were good also. The bread they provide with meal is home made not commercial. The building is old and the parking lot has more pot holes than you can shake a stick at. Hopefully they will get the holes filled with the big pile of gravel at the side of the parking lot. The prices and the quality of the food make it one of those over looked places off of Hwy 35. The staff are really friendly folks.
