If you are looking for a uppity, a la carte charges for sides and mood lighting at the tables then this is not the place for you. The Open Range is a place with friendly greetings by the staff, over stuffed baked potato & a rib eye as big as Texas grilled to perfection. If you judge a book by its cover then you are missing out on the best steaks in Brazoria county and probably a whole lot of great reading. Try it you'll like it.

The best steaks on either side of the Brazos! Super high quality, fresh ingredients and their attention to detail makes every dish the best on the menu. Full bar and amazingly fantastic owners. Am NEVER disappointed!

We have eaten there several times, and each time gets better and better. The food is outstanding, the staff is awesome, and the atmosphere is the best. Country atmosphere, but 5 star rating on food. Will continue to go there as often as we can.

Very nice atmosphere and excellent service. The Works burger taste very good. It is nearly impossible to hold but I could have ordered less. The Chicken Alfredo was very good. We also had the spinach artichoke dip. It taste great but was not hot. We were surprised that they do not have chicken fried steak on the menu. Also, it was expensive for this area..
