Vibe- I finally made it here! There’s a good amount of seating inside, about 15 or so tables with 2-6 chairs each. I love the sombreros they have displayed on the wall! :)
Customer service- Great!
Food/drinks- I got the veggie quesadilla without sour cream to go for a more vegan friendly quesadilla. I also ordered the queso dip with chips because cheese is just so good!
Parking- There’s a good amount of spots in the lot the restaurant sits in.
I came to this place for lunch and had a good experience. This isn't a typical sit down Mexican restaurant. It's more of a blend between sit down and take away. You have to order your food up front and they bring it to your table.
First of all, kudos to the waitress,.Yoseling, who took our order and served us. She was so cheerful and friendly. That alone made the experience good.
Food is great. The quantity is quite sufficient. In fact, I took a portion of my food back home. We got the Trio Tacos and Chicken Quesadilla. Tasty and fresh. We resisted but caved in to get dessert. We tried the Churros and oh boy it was good! The food was presented very well too.
It was not much of a crowd for a Friday afternoon but it was a late lunch for us, so that may have been the reason. Plenty of parking around the restaurant. Definitely a must drive for lunch or dinner.
Great staff. This was my first visit and it went very well. I went in and placed an order to go. The young lady at the register was very kind and polite. I was torn between a few options, but ended up getting the quesadilla composed of your choice of meat (I selected chicken), flour tortilla, and a cheese blend that came with your choice of beans (refried, charro, or black beans) and choice of (Mexican rice or Cilantro rice), guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. We also ordered the 4 Amigos Street Tacos that comes with your choice of fajita, corn tortilla, cilantro, and onions served with red and green salsa. We selected 2 brisket & 2 chicken with Cilantro rice and charro beans. The last thing we ordered was a beef barbacoa burrito filled with your choice of rice & beans, guacamole, cheese, and pico de gallo. It comes with chips and salsa. All of the food was great. Looking forward to trying their breakfast options which are available to 11am. There are also a few dessert options and a kid's menu. Definitely worth checking them out.
New Spot Alert: 4 Amigos Mexican Restaurant & Catering in Pearland
Stopped by the newly opened 4 Amigos in Pearland. First impressions: clean and fresh vibes, probably since they just opened. It’s got a fast-food feel; you order from screens but still sit down to eat. There’s no waiter service; instead, they call your number, and you pick up your order. Oh, and heads up: they do ask for tips on the payment screen, which feels a bit odd since there’s no table service. Plus, they don’t serve complimentary chips and salsa.
For breakfast, I tried the chorizo and egg taco. To be honest, it was a bit bland, though the red and green sauces were alright. My wife’s Breakfast fajitas had the same issue; the eggs were decent, but the fajitas, which should’ve been the highlight, lacked flavor. Noticed they have a chef on board; perhaps he should review his recipes or train the cooks differently? Flavor is essential to bring people back, especially for a new spot.
However, I’m a believer in second chances. Maybe I’ll return to see if things improve. As of now, I’d hold off on recommending it to friends. Price-wise, it’s average – not super cheap but not too pricey either. On the plus side, the restaurant is clean, looks modern, and there’s ample parking for now.
Finally, maxican restaurant in Perland.
We ordered 2 Beef Fajita and desserts.
the beef Fajita was so good, fresh and tender beef.
Also, we ordered the Chopped Salad with Beef, and it was so good, too. You can ask the cashier for spicy salsa if you like spicy foods.
The desserts were fantastic.
I talked to the Chef Manual, he's Mexican, and he has many years of experience in Mexican Food, and restaurant experience. It was a really good experience.
Can't wait to try the breakfast.
We'll be back for sure.
