I've tried The Station numerous times and I like the fry on the fish, the shrimp tastes really fresh. I love the corn hush puppies. The gumbo is very satisfying. The bread pudding is Sweet and a lil dry to me. Now the Southern Eggroll, left me desiring more. For $3.99 it needs more filling and flavor to go with that wrapper especially since it's only 1. I love to support and see successful black owned businesses so hopefully my review will help.

really good fish tacos. Ask them to go light in the sauce. It's good but gets runny when there is to much. Desiree- took our order and she was great.

The food was really good. They let us try some new sky rolls with shrimp that wasn't yet on the menu and they were excellent. I suggested that they start putting them on the menu that day. Great and friendly service. We will go back soon.

The seafood was fresh and fried hard just the way I like it. Everything was seasoned well, the space was clean and open and the staff was attentive and polite. I ordered the fried fish and shrimp combination plate. It was enough for me to take home for another meal. The dirty rice and fries are yummy and the hush puppies had a hint of sweetness! They offer a huge menu that includes PoBoys, gumbo, pasta, salads and desserts. I tried the new southern sky roll with Mac and cheese, greens and smoke turkey inside. It was delicious.

If you like seafood and want something that is a notch or two above fast food, then a good choice is Catfish Station. This chain is expanding quickly and this location in Pearland is its tenth overall, with others likely to open soon.

Catfish Station’s Pearland location is in the middle of a strip mall and features a good size dining space in the rear of the building. Ordering is done at the front counter where you also pay for your food up- front. You are given a number and then need to wait for the food to be brought to your table. Beverages include soft drinks and iced tea and are self- service in nature, so you can drink as much as you like.

This restaurant specializes in seafood options and my kids and wife did, indeed, like what they tried. One kid went with a shrimp Po Boy while the other selected a combination shrimp and fish basket served over a bed of fries. Since I’m not big on seafood, I selected the chicken tenders and fries with a side of coleslaw. I found the chicken tenders quite good and much better than what you would get at a fast food restaurant. They didn’t have excess breading, like the tenders at other restaurants. The coleslaw was better than most and I finished it quickly.

The time it took to get our four meals prepared and served to us was a little longer than expected, but this restaurant is brand new so I can’t fault them too much for that. All things considered, Catfish Station has much to offer and is a good choice when you want something better than the quality you get at a fast food restaurant but don’t have the time to wait for a full service restaurant.
