Papa’s Gyro & Grill

We went shopping and then stumbled upon this gem in the heart of Pearland. This place serves Halal meat which was the Cherry on the top. We ordered lamb over rice, chapli kebab over rice, chicken quesadilla, chicken nuggets and mint lemonade. Every single item was flavorful but Lamb over rice was the star of the night.
Manager was very helpful in suggesting food items and kept checking on us if we needed anything. Would def. recommend this place.

I have come here many times, tried a variety of their options, and have yet to be disappointed! Everything here is so flavorful yet refreshing feeling because you can taste the integrity in their food. The staff are so kind and accommodating as well. I can’t get enough of this place and it’s turning into a weekly rotation

I have been here now at least 5 times and each time has exceeded my expectations. The food is so flavorful and delicious. I’m not sure what spice mix they use or what is in the sauces but they are beyond amazing. More importantly, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure the atmosphere is so welcoming and kind. On multiple occasions they talk to my baby girl, dim the lights for her to be comfortable, and even offer to play cartoons etc. on the TV for her. This really is such a special place. I would go so far to say they have the best food in Pearland that I have tried so far! (Side note the food is much better in person than takeout but that’s normal since takeout is not as fresh as in store. Either way it’s still so yummy!)

First time trying Gyro !!!! I must say the food was chefs kiss. I ordered “ Lamb over Rice “ which comes with cucumber, tomatoes , lettuce and onions on top of the rice. Really good, Lamb is very well seasoned and not spicy or anything at all. Also got the “Chicken Gyro” (chicken & rice with veggies. This also was very good and seasoned. It was a bit spicy but didn’t miss on anything. Hummus was very good not over or under seasoned with pita and lastly I had “Grape Leaves” I believe it’s called. Excuse me if I’m wrong , but it has rice inside. Now personally I liked it A LOT. It has an almost pickled flavor but nothing overpowering and the rice was not mushy at all. ALSO TRY THE MINT LEMONADE !!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY FOR SUMMER TIME !!! Very refreshing and not syrupy sweet ya know. I believe he also said they can make it by the gallon !!! Food was delicious! I tried the chicken shawarma and the chicken was so tender, not dry at all, and full of flavor. I got French fries to go with it which were so well seasoned. The house sauce and mint sauce were yummy. For dessert, I tried the Keer and it was so delicious. The hints of cardamom were perfect. Also, the customer service was great. Super friendly and welcoming!! Highly recommend this place. Worth it!!
