Elmo's Grill

I love Elmo's food! Their staff is pretty nice, depending on who you get.

Always a down home atmosphere with great food and friendly service.

I personally love the hole in the wall spots. The food was pretty good although I liked my sisters fried catfish better than my Philly cheese steak but it was all good and great priced. The building seemed a bit beat down but the food was great

Elmo's Grill is typical of a Small Town Diner. The food is good fresh and served hot. It's clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I got here about 1 and the place was nearly packed. A good portion of the crowd was senior citizens. I was alone and I took a booth and just listened to everybody talking while I was eating my meal. Some of the stories these people were telling was just fascinating. It is quintessential Americana here. Being born and lived here in the west of the Brazos area all of my life I knew a lot of where these people were speaking. Lots of patriotism and good small town feel. Unfortunately, I had to get back to work and was reluctant to leave. So if you're in the West Columbia area stop in at Elmo's Grill and grab you a bite and just relax.

I would travel to Sweeny TX when I was doing Hot Shots and I loved this place.. they have really good homemade burgers that I would get.. My sister got a chicken fried chicken meal and it was the best I ever tasted in a long time. The workers and the customers are the best. If you are ever in west Columbia ya need to stop by and try it. The prices are great and they will not let you down...
