“I ate lunch at Filipp's Cafe with my sister and our youngest children (1 year old twins and a 5 year old). We all had the fried shrimp, they were fresh, huge, and so delicious! Seasoned fries were also yummy. Friendly, courteous, old-fashioned, down-home service and fresh hand-battered goodness like you just don't find often. The place has a cool family history and a laid back feel. Truly a hidden gem. I travel to Danbury every couple of months and look forward to the next opportunity to eat here.”

“Cafe Sol is tucked away in the recreation area for Meridiana. It's a small place, but the food is excellent. I love the gluten free pizza and fish tacos. A small selection of beer and wine, but all good picks. There are nice views as well. Friendly staff, and you can get points by signing up. More neighborhoods need to do this, add a restaurant to the mix.”

“My friends took me here while I was in town on a visit. Great call on their part. The chips and salsa were good, and our orders came out quick. I got the beef fajitas. That's what I do every time I go to a new Mexican place. They did not disappoint. Personally I prefer some char on the meat and these didn't have any. They were still very good just not how I prefer them, and make them myself. I had a happy plate when it was all said and done. For drinks I had a couple of their frozen house margaritas. Can't go wrong there. They were very good. If they have a happy hour and I lived here this would be a frequent stop for me.”
