I am so impressed! This burger place doesn't look like a gourmet burger place on the outside, but it sure does on the inside!
The staff was very helpful, as it was our first time in. I asked for recommendations and found out that they will fully customize your meal for you- even if it's not on the menu.
We got two different kind of burgers, and 2 loaded french fries. All of it was amazing. I had asked if I could add Swiss cheese to the burger, and 2 bites in I noticed it wasn't in there. Not a big deal, I'm not super picky. Mike noticed himself and walked over to my table and served me a fresh, remade burger with the cheese on it and profusely apologized. This was free of charge.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I noticed some reviews said the burgers were burnt. They were well done, but as they're fully customizable, you can always ask for a more rare burger.
Definitely check this place out! You can't beat it!
We had a great experience here. This was our first time ever to eat here. We had the Texican Burger, and they were delicious. The brisket fries are a meal alone and are awesome. The Mexican street fries were delicious as well. The service is great, and they have great newspaper articles from the past throughout the dining room. It's a neat place
Definitely a great place to eat. Outstanding customer service! I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was delicious. My husband had the Ol'Sarge and he said it was outstanding. Definitely would recommend Mr. Hamburger to friends and family.
Atmosphere
With a logo like that it's really hard to miss this location from the street. Once inside, there seemed to be a decent amount of seating but worked well with the amount space given. There were a bunch of news articles in terms of city's history and was a nice touch. The music that was playing was a great selection to match the atmosphere.
Service
The service was good and was even given recommendations when trying to decide which of the specialty fries to get. Only concern was the calling system to let customer know when food was ready because could not hear it clearly.
Food
I ordered the Old Sparky and the Mexican Street Fries, both which has it's unique flavor and great quality. The burger itself is probably one, if not the best burgers in town. The amount of fries that were given were substantial to share with someone, even though was hard to do so for the fact of how good they were.
Would highly recommend this restaurant for quality hamburgers.
This is the second time I have been here. This time I had the original burger with cheese, an order of french fries, a drink, and a "mini" chocolate milkshake. All of the food was very good. The burger was juicy and delicious. The fries are natural cut and lightly salted. The milkshake was larger than I was expecting, being it was called a "mini", and it was pretty thick. They should get some milkshake straws. Would recommend to others.
