Food is good. Hate to say it but most of the employees seem to upset in a way. Still a good place to eat

This visit was exactly what I've come to expect from LJS. As a company, their business has been tanking over the last decade or so and the facilities reflect the lack of capital investment. The food is consistently tasty but feels like a guilty pleasure in the age of health conscious eating. The price was reasonable and the level of customer service was on par with my other LJS visits since the late 80's. Meh....????

Customer service is poor there. I ordered chicken, coleslaw corn, hush puppies @ drink. The cashier was taking orders, helping in kitchen, waitress @ buffing tables. It was pathetic. Lack of job performance on one employee, she came to work in uniform, ordered her food with waitress, then had to step behind counter @ ring her own self up. Put money in register @ took some our also. She looked unclean @ unprofessional.

Sundays are all you can eat fish or chicken and sides for $7.99. Still love their fish!

The food is great. They still give out pirate hats like when we were kids. And an energetic, happy to be alive lady runs the drive thru.
