Chef Cao's - Authentic Chinese restaurant in Texas

Had the lunch menu. Very large portions for a small price. Took leftovers for dinner. Very clean. Tasty.

Only give it a 3 because I'm a little confused as to what other people would interpret this as... fits most definitions of American-"Chinese"... has all the normal menu items, and if I was going to rate any other place in town, they'd probably get a similar rating - doused in sugar sauce

I have been to both Chef Cao's in College Station, and I love this place! Great food and service, friendly people, and a huge menu. But i will say this: spicey here means SPICEY. No BS, folks, it's going to be hot! They do a large take-out business. Good place to take your family. Can't go wrong with this very good restaurant.

Love their food! I always make my veggie chicken extra spicy. Highly recommended.

Great choice for vegan and non-vegan diners. I was very surprised and impressed with the quality of the food when we stopped in here for a quick lunch one afternoon. As a vegan from out of town who doesn't really love Chinese food, I did not have very high expectations for this place. It was literally the only restaurant I could find for miles around that offered vegan food, and that's the only reason we went here. That said, I am SO glad we did!

The food was truly delicious. The ingredients were of good quality and the sauces were outstanding. Both the vegans and not-vegans in our party were well-pleased. Everything was clearly made to order, and even so, it still came out quickly. We were given very generous portions, and I enjoyed leftovers for days! If I lived in the area, this would definitely be a regular lunch spot for me.
