Friendly service, a bit slow as expected with student waiters. Kitchen seems to know what they are doing. Worth the effort to visit here. Lamb (cooked (stir fry) a bit spicy with cumin) was pretty good - served with rice. Oysters were very good, perhaps one of the best I have had. Will be back soon.
Definitely the highest quality sushi in town. Great menu, awesome atmosphere, but the real selling point here is their phenomenal quality of fish. I would highly recommend this place to all sushi lovers.
High end quality for a good price. This place could definitely give the current sushi places a run for their money. So far, I've visited twice and loved all of the rolls I've tried!
I deducted one star because my favorite sushi appetizer is only lack luster here. You have to have good calamari tempura to be a 5 star sushi place! The choice of cuts and fry is excellent, but there's nothing to compliment the flavor of the calamari. It's simply served with spicy mayo as if an afterthought. If they added some lemon zest or a good ponzo sauce, it would be excellent!
Been twice. Quality of food has been good to very good. The ambiance is nice, almost romantic. A large variety of seating options are available including a long Sushi bar.
Given they have been open two weeks they are still working on making their service consistent and more effective. Food doesn't come out at once for the table and the wait staff duplicate each other from time to time. I think it is a matter of training and maybe more front of house staff...The duplication is because the staff CARES to do a good job.
We consider them towards the top of our local Japanese options. We also remember having to go to Houston for any Sushi options!
