1775 Texas Pit BBQ LLC

Out on 60 going west is this most excellent place that I have seen but finally stopped. First of all, this is a veteran opened and operated business, second, the people are just super nice and thirdly just damn good bbq! The brisket was a bit dry on this visit but the ribs were fall off the bone perfection with a great peppery bite, sausage (not homemade but local) perfectly juicy, beans beautifully seasoned : plump yet with just a tiny bite and among the more outstanding potato salads I have had at a BBQ place. It's a place that you almost don't want to review in the fear of large crowds.... But one must because you want such stellar people to do very very well!

The food is on point. The sausage was my favorite. Not too spicy, not over cooked. Just on point. I highly recommend it. The line is super long so be ready to spend a good hour in line. I picked beans and potato salad for my sides. They were both hella tasty. They ran out of corn and mashed potatoes before I made it to the counter.

If this isn't the best BBQ I've ever had, then I'm not sure what was. The pinto beans are a meal by themselves, and the loaded mashed potatoes are awesome. You won't regret a stop here.

Tried all four meats today. Brisket, sausage, ribs, and turkey were great. Loaded potato and beans sides were real good. Definitely coming back soon. One of the few BBQ places where everything I tried was very good.

This place is FANTASTIC! Everything is elite. We had brisket and hot sausage and mashed potatoes and potato salad for sides. So delicious, cooked with real ingredients, from scratch.The family who started the business are so friendly, welcoming and truly care to offer a great experience. No need to be traveling anywhere outside of College Station for barbecue ever again. Absolutely in love and will definitely be going back!
