Rudy’s has some of the best, if not THE best, brisket in town. I personally prefer the moist brisket. I have yet to try all the BBQ places in town though, so take that into account when considering how Rudy’s brisket measures up relative to what else Bryan/College Station has to offer. The pulled pork is also pretty good, but I found the baby backs a little dry. I think brisket is your best bet.
I only recently learned that Rudy’s is a chain. I wouldn’t have initially thought that because it has a local feel to it. Additionally, the atmosphere is fun and clean. The employees are nice and the service is quick. Rudy’s is a great little place.

You gotta try their baby back ribs. They have such good BBQ and excellent sides. 10/10 recommend.

Rudy's is the only good chain barbeque place I've ever been to. It's not as good as a dedicated place like Franklin's but you don't have to wait several hours or pay as much. This location has the jumbo smoked potatoe which I wish all locations would.

Rudy's is a little overpriced for what they serve, and the butcher paper for plates is a little too rustic for most diners and was not kept loaded fast enough for one table of ten. The brisket was good, but the ends were burned fat that could not even be sliced. The jalapeno sausage was okay, but the chicken was pretty tasteless. As for the sides...there was nothing to write home about. I think I'll find another restaurant when I'm hungry for barbeque. Sorry, Rudy's...

It is so delicious! I always order the brisket. Sometimes moist sometimes lean. They are both amazing. Tonight I ordered the stew and it was a little warm (spicy) but delicious and then cooled it down with potato salad.
