Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que

Best BBQ around. I've been to the one in Austin and Llano, now this one in College Station. I feel like most BBQ places get the meat right or the sides right - Cooper's has both. I love the turkey, great cole slaw, mac and cheese is amazing, beans/pickles/onions all come with the meal. They offer bread, but seriously, who wants to fill up on that? Gimme the good stuff.

COVID REVIEW: If you're going to eat out in a pandemic do it here! Very clean and spacious. The employees were all great with plexi keeping you and them safe. 10/10 felt extremely safe.

Since the Covid19 pandemic we along with everyone else has been staying home and not able to go out to eat. But, on a little road trip today we stopped by Cooper's. So glad we did. First of all, they are very polite and were all wearing masks and had tables marked for distancing. We got a pound of turkey and half pound of sausage, drinks, plus Mac and cheese that was AMAZING! Green beans also Amazing! And the complimentary pinto beans, which again, yes AMAZING!! Pickles, onions, bread and jalapeños. Still have food left over and under $37. It was so worth it. We are up this way a few times a month. New stop found!! ???

Excellent food!! Brisket was delicious. Brisket seemed to be simply seasoned with salt and pepper. Super moist. Turkey had an excellent taste and smoke flavor. Pork ribs and sausage were great. Beans were fabulous!! We will be back for sure. Only draw back...the wait time approximately 45 minutes.
