I’ve always thought the best Indian food outside of India is on Brick Lane, London. However, equally on par I can now add to this thought and say the best French dining outside of France is Le Petit Cochon in College Station. Don’t be afraid to try something of the menu like the quiche of the day. For a quiche lover this is is a destination quiche. Nothing out there like it. And if you’re lucky enough to have Debra take care of you. Superb service and extremely lovely. Let’s say if you went in happy you’ll stay happy. If you went in sub par you’ll leave happy.
Ps. The Lemon Tart is legendary.

Le Petite Cochon is our new favorite restaurant and we cannot wait to go back! The wait staff was attentive and made the experience even more excellent. The cocktails were beautifully crafted and we had a blast talking to the bartender Trey. We started with the French onion soup and it was out of this world amazing. Dare I say even better than the soup we had in France. The flavor was outstanding and the tiny scissors were hilarious. I had the pork chop as my entree and devoured it so quickly I forgot to get a photo! For someone that doesn’t even like pork, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We finished the night with a tasty lemon dessert. It was light and the perfect way to fuel our happy bellies. It was a truly an outstanding night.

We enjoyed a delightful Sunday brunch at le Petit Cochon. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the wait staff was attentive, but not intrusive. The food was ideally prepared to each individual’s preferences and delivered with style, and no ‘food auctions’. [The server did not come to the table and say “who had the salad with salmon?” waiting for someone at the table to raise their hand. ] Instead, the food is politely delivered with a kind “bon appétit”. Our water cups and pitcher were kept fall the entire meal, and when any additional items are brought to the table it was again politely, and not interrupt service, atmosphere, delicious food reasonably priced makes Le Petit Cochon, a true winner for the Brazos Valley. Bravo!!

Inspired by a daughter who is in France right now, those of us in Texas decided to try Le Petit Cochon. It was amazing. I wouldn't normally have soup in the summer, but the french onion soup was the best I've ever had. The chicken cordon blue was excellent too. I took about half home to save room for the delicious dessert. Loved every bite!

Try out the new my wife said and my mom said I wanna try out that new pig place. So for mom’s birthday we took her to Le Petit Cochon. We started with racelette au fromage it was two generous slices of toasted French bread with melted cheese. They toasted the cheese on the wheel and scrapped it table-side onto the bread. It was great and would have been enough for a share among 5 people easy. We then had the Gratinee lyonnaise or French onion soup another huge hit. It was thick and semi-sweet with a bouquet of fresh onion. The cheeses was amazing, sticky and stringy — exactly what you would expect. Best of all it wasn’t salty a crime committed to most French onion soups. We then had the salad hachee. Delicious! Fresh, crisp, and with a tangy finish and the blue cheese was high quality creamy and delicate for a blue cheese. We had the duck, the fish stew and the pork chop for the mains. The duck was a generous serving of breast along with a leg quarter on sweet potato purée. Best duck I have eaten in years. The Bouillabaisse (fish stew) had ample amount of shrimp, mussels, clams, and two tires of fish, salmon and a white fish. It was served with 6 large croutons to soak up the tomato based soup. It was thin but robust with a hint of Rosemary and garlic. The pork chop was also served with sweet potato purée. We finished it off with profiteroles. I could have started and ended with that dessert. The chocolate sauce was exquisite - creamy, rich, thick, and robust. I rarely give 5 stars. Usually the food quality is great but the price is outlandish or the quantity requires a stop off at a favorite fast food restaurant on the way home. But this was just right. Portions were generous the food quality was extraordinary. Compared to other local restaurants this was a value 5⭐️ restaurant. You would have paid twice the price at Christopher’s or Ronin’s.
