On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

This is my favorite "white person's Mexican restaurant". In my opinion, they have the best salsa in town and their Tex-Mex is spot on. OTB will never pass as authentic Mexican food, but for quick and friendly service, good Tex-Mex, and bartenders that can do more than just poor margarita mix, this place is great.

Friend's and I sat out on patio a few weeks ago and the weather was perfect! The service was prompt and our waitress very nice and didn't have to wait to order, she kept a good eye on us. The food was delicious too. So, we had a nice experience and though we smoke we sat outside since the weather permitted. Will go back again. There was no wait however, it is summer so it slows down being across Texas aTm University College.

Nice place to eat. I really like their chips and queso cheese. Really great. Wish the chips with their "On The Boarder" logo you get from the grocery store were like these. Good table service and overall clean restaurant. We always leave generous tips.

Tex Mex good varies so much place to place, it’s hard to judge but this place is a definite 5 star place to eat. Best salsa in town, great selection of beers, good service and the whole nine yards. Olivia is our usual waitress and she can help you with any questions she’s great! Great experience all around!
