“Food was good. Prices reasonable. Service poor. 10 minutes after asking for a plate (sharing one of the big combos) we flagged down our waitress again. Her response, shouted across the room . . . "I have other tables!" She finally brought a plate but just dropped it on the table with a clang and stomped off without a word. Never saw her at our table again. Never asked if our food was okay. Never refilled our tea glasses. We waited and waited for a check but it never came. Finally just went to the register and asked to be cashed out. Tip to patrons: Don't sit in the section with the rude little waitress. Tip to our waitress: Don't be rude to customers. Cost you half your tip.”

“The food is good. I usually stick to the burgers though. I really miss the Texas Burger that Caldwell had a couple years back and Daisy Duke's burgers are the closest thing I've found in Caldwell. I just really wish there was a bigger seating available. If so, I'd probably go there weekly during lunch. Now I only stop in a couple times a month.”

“What a wonderful place to stop for a great meal! The was absolutely delicious and all of the staff were nice and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the food was served quickly. The cashier, cooks and manager were all very welcoming with smiles and pleasantries. The only downside is it is not closer to me as I would set there all the time. Definitely recommend this Golden Chick if you as re in the area!”

“We are traveling pulling a 42' fifth wheel so have trouble finding places to eat. We fit easily along the front of the parking lot, parallel to the road. Their tacos were excellent, and then they were having free cones for the first day of spring. That was nice. :) Place was clean and register person very friendly and helpful.”
