I am so thrilled to finally have a wood fired pizza place semi-locally! In general, these smaller-run places tend to not work for me because their hours are so irregular, BUT Pizzapocalypse is very active in social media and extremely response to messaging so I have always gotten clear information about their hours when I am planning to stop by.
The pizza is made on the spot and the wait time is impressively quick. Every pizza we have had from them is fantastic - they are great with giving input on good flavor combos, too! They are the nicest guys and have been welcoming and patient with our kids as well - giving us stickers and making small talk. The pizza reminds me of Home Slice and is honestly a close enough dupe that it saves me from wanting to drive into Austin, ever 😅 The eating space is shaded and has tons of fans for a breeze. The prices are fair for what you get - I’ve paid more and gotten worse pizza elsewhere, so I happy to pay their prices. I hope they stick around because we love coming here!
Do I even need to describe the experience?? Just look at that pizza and tell me you're not dying to try it....
For what it's worth- they're very friendly, ordering and paying is effortless, and it doesn't just look good, it tastes AMAZING. 10/10
We had the nuclear winter and the zombie pizza and both were phenomenal! They were very friendly and service was quick. Definitely will be going again.
There once was a time you couldn’t get pizza this good in Texas. Really good pizza.
I’ve visited this food truck twice since it opened and I must say, if you really enjoy great pizza, this is the place to be! The first time, I tried something with garlic cloves on it and it was AMAZING. I wish I remembered the name. The second time, they were almost ready to close, so I asked for the rest of the slices and the four I got were equally good. My boyfriend ate two and they were gone in minutes! Those were paid for by a friend of the owner, which showed me how much love they have in the community. I’ll always advocate for buying local so stop by and support this food truck!
