    Riley and Margaret are wonderful and welcoming. The brisket, sausage, and sides are tender and flavorful. Riley's is a short drive from Lockhart, San Marcos, Kyle, or Buda. If you work in Austin and are heading home to Lockhart stop by and pick up some dinner.

    Sausage is really great, not greasy at all. Brisket smoky and full of flavor. Tangy potato salad and creamy mac and cheese rounded everything out nicely. Great, friendly service. Nice vibe - just a little country BBQ place, very relaxed.

    The chicken plate was a half chicken and the smokiness and crispy skin have a wonderful flavor.

    The owner is very friendly and visited about different bbq joints from around the area. He let me sample the sliced brisket and it is phenomenal. That's what I'm having next time.

    I'll be back and recommend you giving it a try too.
