    We drove all the way from New Braunfels to try Thumper’s. We heard it was great... and it is. The food is prepared fresh each day. The sides are all home made from the owner’s receipts and they are fantastic. The banana pudding is to die for. Brisket, chicken, sausage all slow smoked, moist and tender. We hope to try the ribs next. I’m salivating just thinking of it. We are headed back there with friends tomorrow. It’s open air dining. Not fancy seating, but the food is the best!

    Best brisket and ribs I have had in a long time. Beans were awesome. Pam and David are on to something with their seasonings and David is one hell of a cook. Brisket was nice and tender and juicy. Ribs were to die for. TO.DIE.FOR. Keep up the great work!
