Red Barn Bakery

Fun place to visit and shop for antiques while having a great cup of coffee with fresh French pastries or apple fritter or an entire meal. Excellent, fresh country cooking, large portions. Friendly place, popular with the locals. We used it for catering for a party and the food and desserts looked and tasted amazing! Highly recommend. It is a "feel good" kind of place.

Very nice couple who run the bakery/eatery. Food looked and smelled incredible. My husband had a good cup of coffee from them. We were just passing through or else we would have bought many of the beautiful desserts they had available for purchase and on display. Looking forward to giving their deserts and breakfast a try in the future.

Went for a Sunday drive outside San Marcos and on the way to Lockhart and found the cutest little crafts antique in Farmers market on the Red Barn Bakery. I met Patrick out in the parking lot with some of the greatest looking vegetables he doesn't make it into her San Marcos farmers market so I'll be headed back out this weekend to visit with him some more. The bakery is all decked out and was fine antique oak tables and chairs. The antique stores carefully planned out and does accept consignments.

A great overall experience! Customer service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and came in a timely manner. The bakery had a good selection of very delicious pastries.

And most of all, I really enjoyed that no music was playing in the restaurant - it was nice to simply have a meal and enjoy conversation.

I will be back in the future
